Updated October 17, 2026. MakeBox Closet is an independent Chrome extension for Poshmark sellers, operated by CYFRA LLC / MakeBox. It is not affiliated with Poshmark.
Account and billing
We process your MakeBox account email, Firebase user ID, registration and sign-in timestamps, product access, plan, subscription status and usage limits to provide the service. Account visits and billing events may be recorded for support. Firebase provides authentication and storage; Stripe processes payments. We do not receive full payment card details.
Local marketplace activity
The extension stores settings, selected listings, progress and recent action history locally in Chrome. It uses your signed-in Poshmark browser session to perform actions you start. Your Poshmark password and private messages are not collected by our optional diagnostics.
Optional diagnostics
Starting with extension version 2.5.2, you may enable optional diagnostics in Settings. It is off by default. When enabled, action types, error categories, timestamps and the extension version are linked to your MakeBox account and sent to our Firebase backend for support. Listing titles, listing images, listing URLs, Poshmark usernames, message contents, API keys and authentication tokens are excluded from diagnostic events. Existing local history is not uploaded retrospectively. Up to 100 recent events per account are shown to authorized support administrators, together with aggregate counters. You can disable collection in Settings.
Email preferences
Product offers and promotional follow-ups require a separate optional email preference in your account. It is not enabled by registration. You may turn it off at any time at closet.makebox.ai. Transactional account, security, payment and requested support replies are separate from marketing. We do not sell your email or diagnostics to advertisers.
Access and retention
The owner dashboard is restricted by server-verified owner authentication. Diagnostic event history is bounded; account and billing records are retained as needed to provide the service and meet accounting obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, subject to those obligations.
